Restaurant Owner Buddy

About ROB

Built for the person who carries the restaurant home at night.

Restaurant Owner Buddy—ROB—is an AI operating companion for independent restaurant owners. It exists because the hardest part of ownership is often not finding another report. It is making the next sound decision while carrying responsibility for guests, employees, vendors, cash, and the future of the business.

Where ROB comes from

ROB is developed by ROB Hospitality Technologies Corp. The product is shaped by decades of real-world restaurant ownership experience, established operating practices, verifiable facts, and direct feedback from the independent owners using it.

That experience does not make every answer automatically correct. It defines the standard ROB is built toward: understand the restaurant, ask the questions that expose the real problem, state uncertainty honestly, and keep the owner in control.

What ROB is trying to change

From isolated questions

Restaurant problems are connected. Labor, sales, menu mix, leadership, cash, and guest experience should not be treated as unrelated prompts.

To operating continuity

ROB keeps useful facts, decisions, actions, results, and learnings connected so the next conversation can build on the last one.

From generic advice

A broad recommendation can sound smart while ignoring the restaurant's actual constraints, people, goals, and history.

To owner-specific judgment

ROB is designed to clarify the facts, show tradeoffs, remember the owner's choice, and return to the result—not to make the decision for the owner.

Product principles

  1. The owner remains responsible and in control.

ROB supports judgment. It does not run the restaurant or replace qualified legal, financial, employment, medical, tax, or food-safety advice.

  2. Memory should make the product more useful, not less private.

Private restaurant operating records are scoped to the signed-in owner's account. Public Community posts remain separate from private restaurant context.

  3. Advice should lead to action and learning.

An answer is more valuable when the owner can record the decision, define the next step, review the result, and preserve what the restaurant learned.

  4. Claims should be verifiable.

ROB will not publish invented customer results, ratings, endorsements, or credentials. Evidence should come from real owners and real operating outcomes.
