ROB Hospitality Technologies Corp.
Effective 29 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-29
ROB is provided by ROB Hospitality Technologies Corp. ("ROB", "we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a restaurant or company, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you are signing up as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.
ROB is a subscription software companion for restaurant owners. You speak or write to it about your restaurant, and it answers, remembers what you have told it, keeps reminders, and — where you connect them — reads data from services such as your point-of-sale system. It is a working tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, employment or tax advice.
Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it current. ROB is currently sold to restaurant owners, co-owners and principals only.
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
In shared areas such as ROB Community, you are responsible for what you post to other owners, and we may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.
ROB uses AI models to produce its answers. Its output can be incomplete or wrong, and it can be wrong confidently. You are responsible for the prompts you give it, for checking anything material before you act on it, and for having the rights to any content you feed it. Do not rely on ROB alone for regulated advice — financial, legal, medical or employment decisions need a qualified human.
You keep ownership of what you put in. You grant us a limited licence to host and process your content solely so we can run the service for you. We may remove or refuse content and restrict accounts where the rules above are broken; repeat infringement ends the account. Rights holders can raise a complaint at support@restaurantownerbuddy.com and we will act on valid notices.
We own ROB and everything in it — software, prompts, documentation and branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have paid for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Billing, renewal, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. ROB Membership is $39 per month or $450 per year per restaurant location and includes one restaurant location and one owner account. Multi-location plans are coming soon. An owner may start with one restaurant and later add locations to the same ROB account; each added location will have its own restaurant space alongside a shared All Restaurants area. New paid members receive a seven-day free trial. A payment method is collected at signup, no charge is made that day, and the selected membership begins automatically when the trial ends unless it is cancelled first. ROB sends one reminder approximately 24 hours before the first charge. The membership then renews at the selected monthly or annual interval until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your membership page. Cancelling stops the next charge and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate or partially refund the unused part of a billing period. Existing beta and complimentary access remains governed by its original grant and is not converted into a paid trial. See our Refund Policy.
We work to keep ROB available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends you can ask us to export your conversations and data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that exclusion is not permitted. You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and disputes go to the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign your rights without our consent; we may assign ours in a merger or acquisition. Neither of us is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
